THE CORIE WILLIAMS SCHOLARSHIP FUND was established in honor of Corie Williams, a 17 year-old high school senior who was killed by rival gang fire on a Los Angeles city bus on her way home from school. Since its establishment, the Fund has supported inner-city teens who dream of going to college—like Corie. The Fund is particularly supportive of teens who might have difficulty in obtaining assistance from other sources, and who plan on returning to their community after college.
